  1. Hello,
I am a ggg-granddaughter of Pvt. Allen Fender. I do not know exactly where he or his brother Isham are buried, but many of Allen's sons were buried in the Fender Family Cemetery in Foster Creek, Madison Coutny, NC. Our family legend suggests that Allen was living with one of his sons when he died.... According to the Fender Family Death Certificates, Fender Cemetery is located on R RT 6 Foster Creek Road. This address of course may have changed in the last 80 years or so... If you are interested, I do have Allen's photograph if you are interested.
If so email me directly at gracecaybowen@bellsouth.net
and I will be glad to scan it and forward to you.
Also I am a gg-granddaughter of Rev. W.C. (William Craig) Parsons and his wife Cindervilla (Scinda)Halsey Parson, are they by chance buried in the Old Zion Cemetery?
    Thank You,
    Grace Bowen
